Billy Slaughter previews the new ‘Max Steel’ film, ‘Get On Up’ Anthony Hopkins, Dustin Hoffman

A new Max Steel film is headed to the big screen and actor Billy Slaughter says audiences and fans will not be disappointed. Teenager Max joins powers with his alien friend Steel to battle all sorts of alien creatures and amazing super-villains.

BillySlaughter-2“It’s a hybrid of the greatest hits from the sci-figenre,” he says to Dispatch Radio. “Max Steel is like combing all of the Avengers into one hero.”

Max Steel has already proved to be a blockbuster franchise with toys, action figures and a highly successful animated series. The new film gets “a lot of free reign” to bring the live-action version to life.

Billy cannot praise Chadwisk Boseman enough, co-starring with the 42 star in a new James Brown biopic titled Get On Up.

Slaughter continues in the interview to discussing working with Anthony Hopkins (on Kidnapping Freddy Heineken), meeting him for the first time and what his response was. He reflected on his time with Dustin Hoffman, working as his stand-in and their budding friendship.

Billy discusses many of his projects, the upcoming film Laundry Day, TV roles and recalls his time juggling both Romeo and Mercutio roles in a production of Romeo and Juliet.
