‘Big Bang Theory’ season 7 Valentine’s Day episode has ‘big, very sweet’ moment for Amy and Sheldon

Fans of the hit sitcom The Big Bang Theory may be pleased by the recent news that this season’s Valentine’s Day episode will add another chapter in the romantic relationship between Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy (Mayim Bialik).

“It is a very big, very sweet episode for Amy and Sheldon,” Bialik teases of the upcoming Feb. 6 episode titled “The Locomotion Manipulation.”

“They have quite the romantic moment,” says executive producer Steven Molaro. “It surprises them both,” exec producer Bill Prady confirms.

The couple, on a double date with Howard (Simon Helberg) and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch), board a dinner train bound for Napa Valley wine country. However, it’s anything but a smooth ride. “Sheldon and Amy have a rough go because he’s obsessed with the train’s mechanics,” Helberg says. “But there are some major steps forward taken, with a pretty beautiful ending.”

At the end of season 6 Sheldon and Amy shared an intimate sexual encounter played out through the game Dungeons and Dragons. Sheldon confessed that he has not ruled out having sex with her one day and he finds their relationship “intimate.”
