Biden gaffes continue on 2020 campaign: wrong state, health care that’s ‘not quality’ and crowds not showing up
Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden continued to make embarrassing misstatements while on the campaign trail on Saturday, speaking in Keene, New Hampshire, said: “I’ve been here a number of times … I love this place. Look, what’s not to like about Vermont in terms of the beauty of it?”
Biden’s remarks led critics to make comments that seemed to point in the direction of Biden’s health.
Buck Sexton tweeted: “Serious question, America: when was the last time you forgot what state you were in? Exactly.”
Biden is on a roll with these type of remarks, saying on Friday, Biden said: “If you’re not satisfied, you have another option, high-quality options. The public option will be available in my plan.”
“We’ll make sure it’s not quality,” Biden continued. “We’ll make sure it’s only affordable, quality that’s affordable.”
Biden added, “And for folks in the working class … they will, in fact, will increase their premiums, excuse me, the will increase the generosity of the premium tax credit they now get.”
Biden did not know what decade civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated as he then proceeded to question the role the women have had in political activism.
Democrats appear to turning away from the former VP: ABC posted video of the “overflow crowd” at the event — there were a few dozen people in the room and most were probably media.
“I just came to apologize for you not being able to get in. Okay?” Biden said in the clip, which can be seen below.
There are only a few dozen people in the room, so even if there were a couple hundred, that would not warrant the use of the term “overflow crowd.”
President Trump just held a rally in New Hampshire where over 11,000 people were inside of the arena, plus THOUSANDS in the overflow crowd outside.
All of this comes days after the former Vice President told an audience to imagine the assassination of President Obama as a scare tactic to vote out Trump.
While Biden appears to be navigating the moderate lane of Democratic candidates, his New Hampshire visit revealed pretty radical climate change goals or really intense pandering.
“My concern is, right now, your climate plan doesn’t meet the demands of science,” a woman at the New Hampshire townhall asked. “Will you change your climate plan so that there is a radical decarbonization of our transportation, energy, and our food systems?”
“Absolutely, yes,” Biden responded, adding, “There’s not a single solitary plan that can end all – no more emissions in 10 years, there’s not one anyone’s introduced in the whole world, anywhere.”
Biden came after he made the following embarrassing statementsin Iowa the week prior:
- Referring to Theresa May as “Margaret Thatcher.”
- Claiming about the Democrat Party: “We choose truth over facts.”
- Saying: “Poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids.”
Joe Biden doesn’t know what state he is in.
