Bangladeshi man stands trial for the rape of a 6-year-old girl in a Dubai restaurant bathroom

A Bangladeshi janitor stood trial yesterday in Dubai for allegedly raping a child in a restaurant bathroom two months ago, according to a Gulf News report.

According to the charges, the 27-year-old cleaner followed the child into the bathroom of a Jumeirah restaurant and raped her.

Apparently, according to the dad, the girl went into the restaurant’s gathroom to check on a loose tooth. After a short period, the mother went to check on her; however, the girl came out of the bathroom looking frightened.

According to the report, the father said, “When I asked my daughter if she managed to see her tooth, she said the mirror was too high for her, and then I heard her whisper to her mother about a man who touched her private parts.”

In court Wednesday, the father testified that his daughter said the janitor followed her in the restroom, approached her and ” placed both his hands on her thighs and cupped her private parts and kissed her.”

Even worse, DNA analysis reportedly revealed traces of the janitor’s semen around the girl’s private parts.

Despite the damning evidence, the accused still claims his innocence.
