Anne Curtis tweets about Manila bus accident that killed at least 18
People Asia’s National Sweetheart and the Philippines “Princess of All Media”, Anne Curtis went to Twitter today offering prayers for those lost and the families left behind in the tragic bus accident in Bicutan, Taguig City that killed at least 18.
Curtis tweets, “Praying for all the lives lost on the bus accident this morning and the loved ones they left behind. Such sad news. :(”
However, she also tweeted in a critical tone to the government and the bus drivers in the city.
“I hope this is a wake up call to the government and MMDA. This isn’t the first time. Bus drivers are some of the most misbehaved drivers on the road. They are scary. Always after a quota they need to reach. The don’t stay in their lines and speed like crazy.
“Maybe it’s time we have government run & owned bus transportation. Just like any other country. Maybe it would bring more discipline?”
And Anne Curtis wasn’t alone.
Filipina TV host and model, Bianca Gonzalez tweeted, “Don Mariano buses suspended for just one month. Tell that to families who lost their father/mother/husband/wife/son/daughter forever. <\3”.
