Angel Locsin newest milestone: 5 million Facebook ‘likes’

She is certainly turning into the Philippines social media queen, and the numbers don’t lie.

The Best Actress in the 2013 PMPC Star Awards for Movies, Guillermo Mendoza Awards and FAMAS, Angel Locsin hit the 5 million “likes” mark today, amazingly in a mere 48 days.

If you remember correctly, Ms. Locsin hit the 4 million “likes” mark on November 3, 2013. That is approximately 21, 000 like per day. Incredible!

She is currently the Filipino celebrity with the second largest Facebook presence, following only Vice Ganda, who has garnered 5,684,000 likes to date.

However, that lead may be short-lived. Just do the math.

In the time it took Angel to get 1 million “likes”–48 days, Vice Ganda only received 389,000 new “likes”.

And it’s not just on Facebook where Angel’s popularity with the social media community is growing by leaps and bounds, hitting new milestones frequently, but also on Twitter.

Her Twitter page, @143redangel, hit the 4 million follower mark just two weeks ago.

Whatever she’s doing, she’s doing right. Queen of the big screen, and queen of social media.
