With all the devastation surrounding Typhoon Yolanda, it’s great to see the celebs come out and get their hands dirty to help out those less fortunate.

Two Pinay superstars pitched in to assist in to ensure food, water and medicine would get to the victims of this horrendous storm.
Star of the small and the big screen, Angel Locsin, rolled up her sleeves and got active with relief operations volunteering with the Red Cross. Some of her duties included orienting new volunteers in the Red Cross and helped volunteers re-pack relief goods.
In addition, Ms Locsin donated her vintage 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle V8 to Sagip Kapamilya. The car will be sold at auction and the proceeds will go to Yolanda victims in the Eastern Visayas.
Fellow actress, Anne Curtis held a “garage sale” earlier this week where the actress auctioned off gowns she wore at various events and a variety of personal clothes and effects, including brands she endorses.
The event called #sANNEdaygargesale raised some P370,000, which was given to the humanitarian organization, World Vision Philippines.
Curtis said on her Facebook page concerning the “garage sale”:
To EVERYONE that came to the #ANNEdayGarageSale from the bottom of my heart THANK YOU for making it successful!!!
My clothes would have been useless to these people. The money raised can go towards water, food and medicine! Immediate relief!!!! My heart breaks for our countrymen.. What I did today is no where near enough. So much more has to be done to HELP.
