Andrea Marker identified as Minnesota woman found dead on family’s doorstep
The family of a woman found dead in Lakeville Minnesota Tuesday afternoon identified her as Andrea Marker and they claim she froze to death.
“Police are not sure if the extreme cold played a role in the death but observed evidence of possible hypothermia before death,” a department news release said. An autopsy will be conducted Wednesday by the Hennepin County medical examiner’s office.
Marker, age 32, is said to have a problem with alcohol which may have led to her not getting inside the home. She had recently lost her job as a waitress says her mother.
Public record documents indicate three convictions for drunken driving. Investigators are attempting to trace her activities up to the time of her death.
The family had been out of town and one of the sisters was at the airport picking up the family when she was contacted that the body was found outside of the house.
Marker had an associate’s degree in nursing from Minneapolis Community and Techical College and said she was working as an administrative assistant and as a server at two restaurants.
Temperatures and windchills in Minnesota plunged well below zero this week.
