Ami Horowitz visits West Bank, proves John Kerry perpetuating ‘FAKE NEWS’ about Palestine, checkpoints
As the Obama administration comes to a close, Secretary of State John Kerry lamented the Palestinian “crisis,” defending the United Nations anti-Israel vote. Now videographer Ami Horowitz documents the life in the West Bank, how Palestinians live and move about the region.
Check out the video below.
At the bottom is the audio from Horowitz’s appearance on the Dennis Prager Show discussing the trip, telling the audience that “We drove back-and-forth, criss-crossed the West Bank….I think we drove at least 300 miles” in a Palestinian car with a Palestinian driver. “We’re NEVER stopped. We saw one check point – it was a rolling checkpoint,” he explained. “You never actually have to stop.”
“The vast majority of Palestinians DO NOT see an Israeli in their daily life,” Horowitz says as a takeaway to describe the experience.
“If the choice is one state, Israel can either be Jewish or democratic, it cannot be both, and it won’t ever really be at peace,” Kerry said in his final speech for the administration, further lamenting that the political debate around Israeli settlements.
Now let’s contrast Horowitz’s documented trip with the stories from Kerry:
“I have also often visited West Bank communities, where I met Palestinians struggling for basic freedom and dignity amidst the occupation, passed by the military checkpoints that can make even the most routine daily trips to work or school an ordeal, and heard from business leaders who could not get the permits needed to get their products to the market and families who have struggled to secure permission to travel for needed medical care.”
No check points vs. Palestinians are struggling to get medicine.
“There are currently about 2.75 million Palestinians living under military occupation in the West Bank, most of them in Areas A and B where they have limited autonomy. They are restricted in their daily movements by a web of checkpoints, and unable to travel into or out of the West Bank without a permit from the Israelism,” Kerry stated just weeks ago.
“web of checkpoints” vs ONE rolling check point.

Horowitz recounts how there is trash everywhere in the West Bank and the Jews are blamed as Palestinians claims “they do not allow us to pick it up” because they want “us to live in garbage.” He explains rolling checkpoints and container checkpoints. The video shows a contrast between the West Bank checkpoints and those on the US-Mexican border — which is incredibly invasive.
