Amager woman thwarts would-be rapist by telling him she had herpes

An Amager woman woke to find a man in her bedroom with a revolver pointed at her Sunday morning. With the revolver pointed at her, the man jumped in bed with her ready of fulfilling his threat to rape her when the 20-year-old woman put an end to the sexual assault by telling the perp that she had the viral sexual transmitted infection, herpes, according to a Copenhagen Post report.
The sound of herpes evidently gave the 30-year-old rapist second thoughts on following through with his molestation and he got up, got dressed and quickly left the apartment.
Police said the woman’s accurate description of her attacker led to the man’s arrest.
The man, who is also from Amager, is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Monday.
