‘Alias’ Spy Daddy star Victor Garber cast as Ichabod’s father on Fox’s ‘Sleepy Hollow’

Alias fans can now rejoice and join the Sleepy Hollow fandom as actor Victor Garber has been tapped to join the show.

Famously remembered as ‘Spy Daddy’ from Alias, which starred Jennifer Garner, Garber will now be Ichabod Crane’s father for at least one episode.

Matt Carter’s TV website writes: Garber’s casting only continues what now has to be the brief “Sleepy Hollow” tradition of casting awesome guest stars to get you even more excited about the show as a whole. Just look at some of the people who have been brought on already, especially a certain man in John Noble who is going to be back as the Sin Eater very soon. Not only that, but it has been confirmed already that he will also be gracing the show for a certain percentage of the show’s second season.

The Fox series, which is a modern-day twist on the Washington Irving’s classic, has been pulling in about 7 million viewers, and has already been renewed for a second season. The series premiere was watched by more than 22 million viewers (live + DVR), making Sleepy Hollow one of the TV season’s most-watched pilots.

Sleepy Hollow airs on Fox Monday nights.
