‘Agents of SHIELD’ to feature a crossover with ‘Thor The Dark World’

ABC’s Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. has proven to be a successful extension and promotional platform for the Marvel Studios films.

Now Marvel is confirming an episode to follow the release of new Thor film and the events which follow. The November 19 episode of ABC’s show titled ‘The Well’.

“In the aftermath of the events chronicled in the feature film Marvel’s Thor: The Dark World, Coulson and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. pick up the pieces – one of which threatens to destroy a member of the team.”

Star Trek: The Next Generation star Jonathan Frakes will helm the episode, which will not feature characters or actors from the Thor movies.

The next episode is “F.Z.Z.T.,” which has the agents “hunting” a shockingly elusive killer who’s leaving bodies floating in the air.

Studio describes the episode saying: “Nobody’s safe, including the campers in the exclusive cold open above, and the elite agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”

Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs Tuesdays, 8 p.m. ET on ABC. “F.Z.Z.T.” airs Tuesday, November 5.
