ACLJ’s David French on Dr James Enstrom case: fake phDs, corrupt science and peer review

Dr. James Enstrom’s lawsuit against UCLA came to end as the university settle with the tenured researching and ACLJ’s David French spoke with Dispatch Radio about the case, settlement and the shocking revelations that surfaced during the case.

French outs the California Air Resources Board’s dirty laundry, which include a fake phD and illegally extended tenures as the introduction to a case full of shocking indictments on the scientific community: they hadn’t read Enstrom’s research, the scientific consensus was based on faulty data which was not read and the UCLA chair only “looked at the front pages.”

“The Dean of Public Health only had ‘very general knowledge’ of Enstom’s work” and confessed he didn’t know what the opinions were based upon – by the way, French confirms how the diesel regulation passed despite all of the corruption and lies.

Possibly most important, French summarizes the danger in university research: “government funding is seen as the only legitimate source of funding,” contrasting this with funding from a drug or oil company.

This is possibly one of the most enlightening interview we’ve ever had on the Dispatch. Check out the full interview below.
