Abortion advocates attack GOP with puppets in ‘State of the Uterus’ address

Following President Obama’s State of the Union address, there rebuttals on YouTube, news shows and other forums. But there was one address you may have missed: “The State of the Uterus,” brought to us by abortion advocates with a group called Lady Parts Justice.

State of the Uterus address pro abortion groupThe group, attempting to use comedy, is speaking out against pro-life legislation, the Hobby Lobby case before the Supreme Court and other topics.

“Republicans are tirelessly fighting so the uteri of America will have the same rights as the uteri of Saudi Arabia. And the passage of 250 abortion laws in 2013 alone is a pretty good start,” the video states.

Comparing the GOP to members of Islam who support Sharia Law is their counter to legislation in response to the Kermit Gosnell murder trial and ‘House of Horrors’ or the contraception mandate in Obamacare.

From their website, the LPJ state: “Women are not faking rape and they don’t have magical powers to deactivate rape sperm. We are not pregnant before we are pregnant, we can’t have an abortion if we are not pregnant, and I think we can all agree, women shouldn’t be forced to carry stillborn babies. Abortions don’t cause mental instability and the HPV vaccine doesn’t make girls mentally retarded. No woman’s boss should be able to demand information from her to decide if her reason for wanting birth control is moral enough to grant permission.”

Comedy is part of the tactic as they tell viewers: “You are funny and smart so why not get together with your other funny smart and pissed off friends, have some wine and come up with some clever ideas of your own to throw a bum or two out.”
