  1. Peter Pan Statue, Kensington Gardens, London

This charming bronze statue celebrates Peter Pan and many of his animal friends, the Darling children and the fairies. The story spoke of Peter Pan appearing on this exact spot in the gardens as a seven-month-infant with magical powers. Author J.M. Barrie lived near the Kensington Gardens and couldn’t resist using them in the story. Barrie commissioned the piece, which was designed by Sir George Frampton.

  1. Giraffe World Kitchen, 120 Wilton Road, Victoria, London

When the kids start getting peckish, take them to a fun place where they can enjoy their surroundings as much as the food. There are many great dining destinations in London and Giraffe World Kitchen has several branches, including this one, just moments away from Victoria Station and close to the theaters. The children’s menu offers breakfast dishes and mains, including Flipping Amazing Pancakes, chicken wraps, burgers and wedges and more, all served in safari-like surroundings. Giraffe World Kitchen also serves takeaways for families on the go.

  1. KidZania – Indoor city run by kids

This indoor city has been designed for children aged from 4-14 and blends entertainment with learning. Many real-life activities are offered and kids can try out their skills in various professions in the city. For something for everyone, Kidzania’s Feel Good Family Sundays are a great option, where parents can also try out a new profession along with the kids. It’s not often that we can get to enjoy work, but here you can present a show at the Heart Radio Station, learn how to cook or deliver post in the city, while the kids have fun too.

  1. Climbers and Creepers at Kew Gardens

This indoor play area is located in Kew Gardens and offers the first interactive botanical play zone to teach children about plant life while having fun. The play area is located in an old greenhouse, where kids can experience being insects, climbing through plants and sliding in tunnels made from greenery. This attraction is ideal for kids from 3-9 years.

  1. Mudchute Park & Farm, Cubitt Town, Isle of Dogs, London

There’s nothing quite like experiencing the fun of the farm, right in the heart of a busy city. Mudchute Farm has more than 100 animals and fowl for the children to visit and several educational activities. There are stables and a working farm on the site. The family can enjoy a picnic with amazing panoramic views of the City of London while visiting.

Enjoy a visit to London this year with the children and explore everything England’s capital has to offer.
