4 Reasons to Visit Australia This Year

The ‘land Down Under’ is one of the most fascinating countries in the world, and also one of the most attractive places to travel.

From its numerous natural wonders to the hip cities, the infamous Aussie BBQ and the chance to make it your forever home, read on for four reasons to visit Australia this year.

1. It is full of natural wonders.

Home to the Great Barrier Reef (the world’s largest living organism), Uluru, Shark Bay, The Pinnacles, and MacKenzie Falls, there is no denying that Australia is filled with natural wonders.

Whether you are looking for world-class diving opportunities, some of the oldest continuous tropical rainforests in the world, sailing in the Whitsundays with Airlie Beach tours, or multi-day hikes to see limestone formations, Australia is the place to do it.

No mention of Australia’s natural wonders is complete without talking about the awe-inspiring beaches. With over 50,000 kilometers of coastline, this country has enough beaches to keep you occupied for a lifetime. Some of the most renowned are Coral Bay, Hyams Beach (known for having the whitest sand in the world), Noosa, and the less crowded beaches in Perth.

2. The cities are seriously cool.

One of the fantastic things about Australia is that even with the abundance of nature and activity offerings, there are still enough cool cities to spread your itinerary over.

As the most famous city in the country, Sydney manages to keep up with the hype, offering visitors the chance to experience its lively ambiance, energetic culture, and appealing beach lifestyle. Melbourne has more of an elegant European flair, unique coffee culture, and is often touted as the most livable city on Earth.

If you are looking for a more laid-back metropolis, Perth is the place for you with its emphasis on good food and even better art. The coastal city of Adelaide is perfect for those who want to spend the majority of their time in gorgeous beaches and lovely parks.

Last but not least, Canberra – the nation’s capital – is a treat for those who love design and architecture and whose perfect holiday involves world-class museums, vast open parklands, and spacious, tree-lined promenades.

3. Healthy cuisine is the norm.

If you’re someone who likes to maintain a healthy lifestyle while traveling, then Australia is the place for you. Due to the locals’ love for wellness and lots of time spent outdoors, plenty of healthy dining options are available all over the country. Do you crave an avocado every day? That is the norm for Australians.

That being said, make sure you indulge in a typical Aussie barbecue before you leave as the citizens of this country are known to be quite the experts at putting on a BBQ. You can expect your plate to be overflowing with sausages, burgers, steak, fresh seafood, bread, and tomato sauce.

4. If you fall in love with the country, there is a chance you can make it your home.

How often have you visited a country, only to be completely devastated when it was time to leave? The chances are that has happened to you, and you wind up spending the whole plane ride home wondering how you can relocate your life.

Luckily, when it comes to Australia, you don’t have to fret about not being able to spend a more extended period there. The Australian visa application favors those who are skilled in certain areas and can potentially lead to a whole new life for you.

If you are interested in spending the next chapter of your life in Australia, make an appointment to speak with immigration consultants in Dubai (or those nearest you) who specialize in these types of visa processes. If you satisfy all the requirements, pretty soon, you may be back in Australia, and for the long term, too.

Have you ever been to Australia? If so, what do you love about the country? If not, are you planning to use your vacation time to travel there?
